Hello everyone, we are sorry for the short notice but we have to inform you that the HOA cannot purchase a permit for a community-wide garage sale event. We have the funds but the city will not allow us to purchase a multi-home permit as they require each home to have their own. This is because they track how many garage sale each home owner has during the year because you are allowed to only have 4 annually (1 per quarter). When trying to purchase this event’s permit, we found out that the last few permits that were obtained for community events were sold to us improperly.
If you would still like to take advantage of the community event, then you can purchase a permit at an H-E-B store, online at the city’s website, or down at the city’s development office for $16. Make sure to display the permit in a location where it can be easily seen.
