Upcoming Fall 2016 Events

Halloween Parade in the Park – October 31

Our annual Halloween Parade is coming soon and changing venues! Everyone is invited to attend to watch all our spooky goblins, pretty princesses, and mighty warriors strut their stuff along the trails in the park. Our littlest neighbors will have a chance to show off their costumes in the parade, dance along to some fun tunes, and even get some prizes before they head out into the neighborhood. The fun will begin at 6:00 PM in the park green space, followed by Trick or Treating around the neighborhood beginning at 7:00 PM.

We’re looking for volunteers to help set up and clean up so that parents can take their kids directly out to Trick or Treating. If you are available and want to help, please contact Haley Bankey at haleynbankey@gmail.com.

Haunted Halloween Yard Contest

Who has the spookiest decorations? Who has the most whimsical? This year, everyone is invited and encouraged to go crazy with Halloween decorations! Not only will our neighborhood look festive and fun, but you’ll have a chance to win a $50 gift card to Target for the best Halloween Yard.  Members from our ACC (Architectural Change Committee) will be selecting one special yard for the prize which will be announced at the Annual Halloween Parade.  Don’t miss out!

Winter Night in the Park

The neighborhood asked, and here’s your answer! After the success of our National Night Out, members of our community requested a winter event to bring us back into community.  Watch for more information on a Winter Night in the Park to take place during November or early December.  Details are coming soon!

If you would like to be a part of making this night happen, please contact Haley Bankey at haleynbankey@gmail.com.   It will all be super simple, and will make for a great community event!

Holiday Yard Decor Contest

As the air gets more crisp, and the December holidays get closer, we encourage all residents to participate in decorating their homes and yards in a festive way. Whether it’s to celebrate your faith or to enjoy some sparkling lights, yard decorations are great way to spread some holiday cheer.  This year, our ACC will be selecting one winning yard for ‘best decorations’ to win a $50 Target gift card. It’s going to be a fabulous winter in Knollcreek!
